Art is a journey, and every piece you create speaks a great deal about your travels. They are road signs for people to follow, and everyone will read the directions differently. - Sir Render
I am Robert Evans the creator and artist behind Sir Render Art. I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area with the mind of a Scientist, the heart of an Artist, and the skills, attitude, and support to be both.
My work is about wavelength/perception, vibration/emotion, and effects/action. In my perception and understanding of the way the world works, these have the same meaning whether you look at them scientifcally or spiritually. The human body, mind, and all the complex interactions between them have always been a mystery and a source of inspiration for me. I have pursued this passion both at a professional scientifc level concentrating on human biology, and an artistic level concentrating on figurative art.
I have found that conducting Science is an art and producing Art is a science. Join me on my travels of discovery of using abstracts, realism, and a blend of each style to express unique moments of life in this beautifully diverse home we call Earth.
Inspiration
People, nature, and space are my most inspiring subjects. I really enjoy capturing movement, expressing moods and assisting people with artistic memories.
Techniques
I started out self taught in traditional drawing and sketches in pencil, charcoal, and inks. Currently I use the same techniques but on a digital canvas. I mostly draw and paint on an Ipad, but I do use other digital mixed medias.
Career Highlights
After working as a NASA Scientist during the Space shuttle years, I started my own Graphic arts business. For the last 6 years I have created my brand Sir Render and been selling and publishing my fine arts. I have exhibited from coast to coast in the USA. I have been featured in many printed magazines, and multiple online interviews. I love my job!
